500g organic stone ground wholemeal
About 500 ml if buttermilk or plain live yoghurt
1 heaped teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix and knead , roll in oats.
Place inside a ore heated #Dutch oven
Score a deep cross into the dough
Bake for 20 minutes at 250c
If needed , baked for a further 5 to 10 minutes without the lid
