https://www.netzwelt.de/news/163775-e-bike-vier-raedern-podbike-fertigpreise-niedriger-erwartet.htmlThe best thing about the podbike is of course the weather protection. Even in the pouring rain, you can look at the sky from your lying position through the plexiglass dome. But the e-bike on four wheels from Norway has many more tricks up its sleeve. And for what's on offer, it's not even that expensive.
Two engines, four wheels - but no chain
It's not just the weather protection that sets the podbike apart from other e-bikes, it's also the technical details. So you can of course also pedal if you want. The power is not passed on to the wheels via a chain, but first to a generator, similar to the Gulas Pi1S . From there, the current flows to two electric motors, which are each located in the rear wheels.
