Hello to my new Diaspora friends who are interested in co-creating a fairer world, especially those of you from Australia, as I am.
Do you know of any website or other resource that acts as a central place to inspire/encourage ordinary people to contact their elected representatives on particular current issues?
I’m imagining going to this website and reading one or two current issues (e.g. cashless welfare cards; international diplomacy; emissions targets) with summarised talking points and which representatives are the best to contact TODAY.
Example:
IssueCompulsory Income Management (Cashless Welfare Card)
Main points- need to creating healthy, economically secure and socially inclusive communities
- practical difficulties making purchases and paying bills
- not enough data from trials
- better to focus on providing employment and training opportunities and ensuring accessible social services and affordable housing
